Triumph Adds Five New Motorcycles to Their Bonneville Lineup

It's been a worthwhile wait, but we finally get a peek at a new set of motorbikes from the British brand that's brought us many classics in the past-Triumph.  Unveiling a jump towards better performance, these bikes reveal added elements including the switch to liquid-cooled engines and a ground-up frame with a body redesign. Featuring six-speed gearboxes, standard ABS and switchable traction control, these bikes off more power than ever before with their eight-valve engines.

The engines will be available in two sizes including 900 and 1200cc, with 270-degree firing intervals teamed with ride-by-wire system controls to manage fuel injection. The five new models titled Street Twin, T120, T120 Black, Thruxton and Thruxton R will be hitting showrooms early next year. Head over to Bike Exif for a more in-depth look at the new motorcycles.

T120 and T120 Black 1200cc engine peak torque 105Nm at 3100 rpm, 54% more than outgoing model.  Peashooter exhaust system.  Road and Rain rider modes with brushed aluminum engine covers and bronze detailing on the T120.  Black engine covers with machined aluminum detailing on the T120 Black and three-mode heated grips are standard.

So it’ll be great news for Triumph fans when these machines hit the showrooms in early 2016. It looks like Triumph has managed to balance the retro charm of the Bonneville, while bringing the performance up to modern standards.

Which one would you pick?
